How to make a quotation

NOTE:   A quote will give a snapshot of real-life availability and rates at the time of the quote.  No notifications will be sent to the operator, and no availability will be taken from the operator's console.


PROCESS  SUMMARY


Step 1:  Normal booking protocols up to the Customer Details screen


Use the dashboard search screens to navigate via the shopping cart, up to the Client Details page, using normal booking protocols.


Step 2A:  New Client Details


Select 'Quote Only' from the Status menu, and enter all details as per normal protocols.
It is advisable to enter the email of the booking centre, rather than the client's email.



or Step 2B:  Existing Client Details


Select 'Search for existing client details'

Enter search parameters
It is advisable to edit the client details, and enter the email of the booking centre, rather than the client's email.


Step 3:  Print out Quote for Client


Retrieve quote from email folder and give a copy to the client

All saved quotes are located under 'Manage Reservations' in the left hand menu of the Staff Console
