Business & Property Details


To begin using Room Manager, start by filling in as many property details as possible. Please remember that the information you enter in the section will be displayed exactly as you enter it on the website, so ensure grammar and spelling are correct.


Customer ID

This is a unique customer ID Room Manager uses to refer to your business.  This cannot be changed.

Surname

Enter the surname of the main contact at your business.

First Name

Enter the first name of the main contact at your business.

Business Name

Enter the name of your business as it is to appear to the public

ABN

Enter your ABN.

Email

Enter the email address where automatic notifications are to be sent. 

Freecall:

Enter your freecall number, if you provide this facility

Email Notifications

Would you like to receive emails on payment of booking? 
Tick this box if you would like to receive email notification of payments, in addition to the automatic booking email. If you select this option you will receive two emails if a client pays at the time of booking.

Website

Enter your website address.

Phone

Enter your main business phone number in this format xx xxxx xxxx

Fax No

Enter your fax number in this format xx xxxx xxxx

Mobile

Enter your mobile number. A mobile number must be entered to use the SMS notification feature.

Postal Address

Enter your postal address, number and street.

Town

Enter your town.

Postcode

Enter your postcode.

State

Enter your state.

Business Location

Enter your full business location in the format as outlined here. This information is used to locate your business in Google Maps. If you do not enter enough information your location may not be displayed correctly. The Google Map location you have entered will be displayed below the Business Location field.
PLEASE NOTE:
For Google Mapping to correctly identify your business location, please enter in the format of:
"<Street Number> <Street Name>, <Suburb> <State> <Postcode>, <Country>"
 
For example: 1/26 Minchin Way, Margaret River WA 6285, Australia

Accommodation Types/Settings/Locations

The Accommodation Type and Setting fields are only applicable to Accommodation Operators but the Location field is relevant to all operators.
 
These fields are drop down menus.  You can choose up to 2 options (if applicable) each for the Accommodation Type and Setting fields and one option for the Location field. Room Manager will look at these fields when a user selects certain Accommodation Types, Locations and/or Settings from the Accommodation Search screen.

1.

Click on the first Accommodation Type field.  A drop down list of the available Accommodation Types will be displayed.  Click on the most relevant accommodation type for your business.

2.

Click on the second Accommodation Type field.  A drop down list of the available Accommodation Types will be displayed.  Click on the next best description of your accommodation types.  If none are relevant you can click on the blank option at the top of the list. Do not pick the same option twice.

3.

Repeat the steps for the Setting and Location fields.

Accommodation Type

You have a choice of two Accommodation Types.  Your property will appear on Accommodation Search pages on the websites of BookEasy Booking Centres who have linked your property.

Setting

You have a choice of two SettingTypes.  Your property will appear on Accommodation Search pages on the websites of BookEasy Booking Centres who have linked your property.

Location

You have a choice of one Location.  Your property will appear on Accommodation Search pages on the websites of BookEasy Booking Centres who have linked your property.

Username & Password

The username you use to login to your BookEasy Member Console is displayed in the Username field.  You cannot update this field.  Your password will not be displayed in the console for security reasons. 
 

To reset your password:

1.

Enter your new password into the Password field. Your new password can be up to 15 characters.

2.

Click Save at the bottom of the page.  You will need to use your new password next time you login to your Members Console.

Username

Your Username is set for you by BookEasy and is linked to your images.  This field can be changed by Logging a Support Request. 

Password

Once you are logged into the system, you can change your password here.  The old password will not display for security reasons.  Any combination of letters and numbers may be used.

Website Details

Point of Difference

This will display at the TOP of your webpage.

We recommend using a short, snazzy description here as a marketing tool to direct customers to your property.  One or two lines is ideal here.  The point of difference is the opening statement that will be displayed in bold at the top of your main page of the Booking Centre’s website.  This is your first opportunity to really sell your business. Tell your customers why you are different from your competition.

Directions from your nearest town

Assume the customer has made it into the centre of town and direct them to your property from here.  Include a detailed description.  Enter in the street directions from the nearest town. Explain it clearly and from all possible directions. Try to include landmarks the guest will pass along the way so that they know they are on the right track. These directions are also displayed on the guest’s itinerary to make it easier for them to find you!

Business Description*

This is a wordier description which will display below your point of difference.  Describe to the customer a detailed description of your business and what they will love about it.  This is your chance to advertise your property.  Be creative and engage your reader!

For Booking Centre Staff Only (i.e. Key Details)

Text that you enter here will display to BookEasy Booking Centre staff only, in red (see example below).  You may want to include details that are important for them to know, for example "Can negotiate discounted rates in quieter periods.  Please call Kay to discuss".

For Itinerary Only

Text that you enter here will display to the BookEasy Booking Centre staff as well as the client and will be displayed on the client's itinerary.  You may have information that is important for them to know, for example 'Please call on mobile if arriving after 5pm', or if there is no information of this nature, you may just wish to say 'Thank you for booking to stay with us.  We look forward to meeting you'.

Bank Details

The bank details are used by your Booking Centre to pay you your returns for bookings.  Enter the details of the bank account you would like the funds deposited to.

Bank Name

Unless you use BookEasy Rooms or BookEasy Tours, please disregard this field.

Bank Branch

Enter your bank branch here.

BSB Number

Enter your BSB number here in the format of xxxxxx.

Account Number

Enter your account number here.

Account Title

Enter your account title here.

Account Code

This applies to specific accounts only.  If you have an account code, you will probably be aware of it.  If you are not sure, contact your financial institution.
